Science Bowl is a competition held regionally in January at Iowa State. The National competition takes place in Washington, D.C.
Students interested in competing at the Science Bowl must try out for the team by taking a series of science tests. Selected teams will practice weekly and then go on to compete at regionals.
Meetings are held weekly in November and December in order to prepare for the Science Bowl in January. All students, including those not on the competition teams, are invited to join in practice.
Since the number of teams that can compete in the Regional Science Bowl is limited, the participation in the completion will vary from year to year depending on if our team is selected.
