Student Ambassadors

JHS Student Ambassadors are a select group of juniors and seniors who help to welcome new students to the building. They are trained in interpersonal skills as well as giving tours of the high school building.

Ambassadors attend training sessions in the spring where they learn their expectations, interpersonal skills, how to give a tour, and FAQs about JHS. They also attending trainings and social gatherings throughout the summer. Ambassadors then give tours to new students throughout the school year, help students get to and from classes, and help with Back to School Night.

All 11th and 12th grade students who have a least a C grade in all classes are welcome to apply to be ambassadors. Applications go out in the spring.

Apply to be an Ambassador if you want to help JHS be a welcoming school and have a heart to help new students with the transition!
