7th Grade Cross Country Information
Welcome to Summit Middle School
On behalf of the students and staff of Summit Middle school, we would like to welcome you to Summit Middle School. There are several highlights at Summit Middle School. Our building is a two-story building with six communities. Each of the communities house eight classrooms.
We also have one art studio, one music room, a full size gymnasium, cafeteria, performance area, library media center, and two computer labs. We have a full time guidance counselor, full time media specialist, and a full time nurse on staff. We also have full and part time staff members who teach our students in the areas of art, music and physical education.
Our Extended Learning Program (ELP) serves our students requiring an enriched curriculum. Students with special educational needs are supported by special education teachers, English as a Second Language teachers, Reading Recovery teachers and Reading Support teachers. Band is offered to our six and seventh grade students.
