Johnston High School hosts students in grades ten through twelve with a student body of approximately 1,300 students. Senior Spotlights

Attention Seniors:  Senior Spotlights for the Class Day Program are due FRIDAY, APRIL 9th.  Please turn in your hand-written or typed spotlight to Ms. Mullen (room 107) or Ms. Nymeyer (room 511) or email your spotlight to juniorsenior10@gmail.com.  Due to printing, spotlights will NOT be accepted after this date.  We also ask you turn in awards or scholarships you have received so they can be included in the Class Day program.  The deadline for awards is Friday, May 14th.  If you have any questions please contact Ms. Nymeyer or Ms. Mullen at Johnston High School at 278-0449.

Parking Application

Parking applications for the 10-11 school year are available. Forms must be turned in to the HS Attendance Office by March 11.

After Prom is in Need of Parent Volunteers!

After Prom Committee is in desperate need for volunteers to help with donations of food, beverages, time, and talents the night of Saturday April 17, 2010. There are many ways you can help with this very worthwhile event... one come to our next planning meeting held Feb. 9, 2010 7:00 p.m. at the High School Library. Attached is a summary of who to contact to become involved.

Ray and Marie Schlenker Scholarship

The Ray and Marie Schlenker Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship, payable at a rate of $2,500 per year for four years, to be awarded to a Johnston High School graduating senior with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and who intends to further his/her education at an Iowa four-year college or university.

Prairie Meadows Scholarship

An application is now available for anyone interested in applying for the Prairie Meadows Scholarship. See the guidance page for additional scholarships available.

Winter Strength Training Schedule

The Fitness Center is open to 8th through 12th graders for winter strength training, Mon - Thurs 3-5 p.m. and Fri 3-4:30 p.m.

Driver's Ed Website

Students can access Driver's Education class information through the StreetSmarts website. You can view registration information and class schedules.
