Johnston High School hosts students in grades ten through twelve with a student body of approximately 1,400 students. JHS Vocal Music Presents "Into the Woods" April 25-27
The Johnston High School music department will open the curtain on its production of the musical "Into the Woods" on Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. and continue through Sunday, April 27 at the Johnston High School Auditorium, 6501 NW 62nd Ave. Show times are Friday, 4/25 @ 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, 4/26 @ 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, 4/27 @ 2:00 p.m. Tickets are now available to purchase online via the eReserve ticketing site: https://www.greateventseats.com/events.php?lID=103

Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire
On April 9, students at JHS will have the opportunity to be screened by the Strengths and Difficulties Questionaire. The SDQ is a brief behavioral screening questionnaire for 11-17 year olds. There are five areas that the screening covers:
- Emotional symptoms
- Conduct problems
- Hyperactivity/inattention
- Peer relationship problems
- Prosocial behavior
This screening is open to any student at JHS whose parents are interested. For more information you may contact Angela Hunt at (515)278-1737 or visit www.sdqinfo.com for more information. Parent permission forms (link to form) must be turned in by April 4th.

Student iPad Help Site
Students can access the Student iPad Help website to address any questions they may have about their iPad. Students must log in to the content using their jdragonmail account. Staff is also able to help in person if students visit the iPad Headquarters stationed in the high school library. Information on the iPad 1:1 Initiative can be found on the district website.
