What's "APP"ening at JMS
JMS will be offering a free mental health screening for all students during 8th grade Health class in October and February. This screening, called the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), is a brief screening that assesses student’s emotions and behaviors. Students are encouraged to participate who are not currently receiving mental health care. A letter explaining the screening and a consent form was sent home in the 8th grade enrollment packets. Parent consent is required for your child to take this screening. Please return the form to the student services office. The letter and consent is available online at our school web page. If you would like further information, visit www.sdqinfo.com.
